Tutorial: Black Widow Nail Design!

This is my first attempt at an infographic so please, go easy on me! Ha ha. Here is my black widow themed nail design!

1. What you'll need: Your favorite white polish, a glow-in-the-dark polish (optional), a black acrylic paint, red acrylic paint, a small paintbrush, and a small dish for water. You can use nail polish stripers instead of the acrylic paint or a polish pen also.

2. Start with a white base. If you want to, paint 2 coats of the glow-in-the-dark polish on top.

3. Paint a black line down the center of the nail from the cuticle to the tip. Then paint a line from the cuticle to the corners of your nail in a triangle shape. I painted 2 more on my thumb because there was so much room. Repeat on the thumb, middle, and pinky nails. You could also start at different points on each nail so it isn't such  uniform look.

4. Make a small curved line between the two straight lines (as shown).

5. Continue making those lines until you've got the nail covered.

6. Do the same to the remaining 2 fingers.

7. On the pointer an ring fingers paint a fairly big circle and a small dot to get the spider's body shape.

8. Paint small angular lines to form the legs. Using the red paint make a small X shape on the body of the spider. Fill in the space to form an hourglass shape.

Then you can use a cotton swab or small brush to clean up the edges, paint on a top coat and you're done!

Polish Haul! Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Colors Pick Your Poison Collection Returns!

 Warning: picture heavy post!

I went to Walgreens yesterday to pick up a little jar of silver holographic Fantasy Makers glitter that comes out every Halloween and, of course, ended up with way more than I went for. Right in the same display as all the Fantasy Makers Halloween makeup (which are manufactured by the makers of Wet n Wild cosmetics), I found 7 shades of the Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Colors! I was so excited because 6 of them were all the shades from last year's Pick Your Poison Collection that I sadly never found near me. I grabbed all 7, including a random glitter called Playing All Suits that was there too.

From left to right, starting at the top: Poison Ivy, Toxic Apple, Lethal Injection, Playing All Suits, Deadly Dose, Venomous Vixen, and Root of All Evil.
