Tag Tuesday: Nail Polish Obsession Tag

Yes, I put stickers on my drawers like a tween. No, I am not a tween. :D

I loooooove nail polish so it's only fitting that this be the next tag I do!



1. What's your favorite nail polish company?

Oh, no. This is a tough one. I don't think I have one favorite brand. I love OPI but there's things I really like about a few brands. I love the formula of Julep polishes. I love the price of JulieG polishes. I LOVE the curved brush on Sally Hansen polishes. I think the problem is that I just love nail polish too much to choose!

2. Glitter or no glitter?

Glittaaaah! Now I don't always wear glitter but I do wear it a lot. I have a whole drawer dedicated to just glitter polishes and even have loose glitters I can sprinkle on if I want.

3. OPI, China Glaze, or Essie?

OPI. It started my polish obsession. I have the most OPI polishes in my collection. My 3 favorite colors are OPI. I feel like of the 3 brands, they have the most consistency with their formula being good. They have a great color selection and really fun limited edition collections and collaborations. Plus, I think the names are really fun!

4. When do you change your nail polish?

Usually every 2 - 3 days. I want something new to look at way too easily.  

5. What's your favorite color on your nails?

Purples and a classic red. I love purples on myself and I think a classic red looks good on everyone. More specifically my 3 faves are (all OPI) Purple With A Purpose, Color So Hot It Berns, and Big Apple Red.

6. Darks or Brights?

Both! 

7. What are you wearing on your nails right this moment?

Oh, it's a big mishmash! I've got Wet n Wild Megalast in Trippin' on the Boardwalk as a base. Then dabbed on top is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Platinum Star and Orly Dazzle. To top that all off I put a layer of Sephora by OPI Meet Me At the Disco for more sparkle. :D

8. Matte Nails--In or Out?

Eh. I don't hate them but I can't say I wear matte nails often. When I do, I tend to put a matte top coat on a bright color like a red or hot pink.  

9. French Manicure?

Nope. Not for me. I like color too much and I have very short nail beds. I think it looks strange on my hands. 

10. Favorite Winter Color?

Probably maroons or deep jewel tones.
