Wheeeee! Free stuff! So Influenster, if you haven't heard of it, is a consumer testing type website. You sign up for free and then do simple tasks like filling out quick surveys, connecting social media, and reviewing products. Influenster sends out boxes with products for you to try and then review. I was lucky enough to receive one of these boxes for spring! Here are my thoughts on each product.
My box included a tube of Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara, which I'm not going to say much about because I'm writing up a full review on it.
I also got a box of the new Platytex Sport Fresh Balance tampons. Always nice to get something you have to buy for free. :)
There was a travel sized bottle of Nivea Skin Firming Lotion. I don't like the smell AT ALL. It smells very perfumey and not in a good way. I have to wash my hands after I use it, it's that strong. On the bottle it claims that it "improves skin's firmness in as little as 2 weeks." I'm curious to see if I notice any sort of difference so I will try it again.....on areas far from my nose.
My favorite item is the Softlips Cube in Pomegranate Blueberry! I love this little guy! I have always liked the Softlips balms in general but I always felt like the tubes were too skinny. I like that this is a bigger surface area. One swipe and I'm done! It has that typical Softlips mentholated feel but it doesn't taste like anything and smells like berries with a slight hint of mint. It's so cute! I really want to get the vanilla flavored/scented one now!
I also got a pack of Kiss Everlasting French nails. I cannot use these because I burned my hands when I was younger and as a result I have uneven cuticles on some of my fingers. Things like these just don't sit right on my nails. So, I put them on my Mom! She loves them! She even decorated them with silver striping and our favorite hockey team's logo. So they can be decorated! She's had them on for about 3 days now and says they are still in the same condition. Nothing has popped off or broken. I will edit this section with how long they last.
Lastly, I got a little peach pie scented car freshener thing. You know the ones you hang in your car? It's a little advertisement for the movie Labor Day. Not much to say here but it makes my car smell awesome!
